The series of works that the painter Massimo Pantani dedicates to Pinocchio arises from the desire to restyle the classic iconography of the famous puppet, with respect for tradition experienced not as a limit but as a starting point to create a new style.
The original lithographs and watercolors tell the creativity and imagination of the artist; his works are dreamlike images that lead us through a fairy-tale journey from which it is very easy to be enchanted and seduced.
The print was made using the photolithography technique on Tintoretto cardboard. The print is finished very elegantly with an ivory bevel-cut passepartout.
