Mr. Igino, tired of spending his days among paperwork in his office, decides to take a trip in a hot air balloon. That hot air balloon which had been left to him as an inheritance by a distant New Zealand uncle, and which had remained for years locked up in his garage. Igino had never had the courage to get on it, but now he really needed to escape the monotonous city life and go explore new places, far from the chaos of everyday life. He puts on his red coat, his top hat, grabs his fine binoculars and boards his wonderful hot air balloon: it's really beautiful with its yellow, red, and blue colors! And as the balloon rises, Igino feels lighter and happier, he sees the gray houses below him getting farther away, and suspended in the blue sky he can almost touch the clouds. How wonderful it is to have no more worries and let yourself be carried over green meadows, gentle hills, roofs and bell towers, in short, to be able to enter another world, the one in which each of us would like to live. When evening comes, Igino must return to his home, to his city, and after this trip it almost seems to him that everything is more beautiful than before. These works by Alessandro Pantani have the ability to convey unique sensations, leaving room for our imagination and fantasy. The original work was done on board with acrylic colors, the reproduction is with digital technique on Tintoretto cardboard. The print is supplied with a white border. The measurements with the border are 33x48 cm, the drawing measures 18x30 cm.
